  • The price and features for the Titan 2 are expected to be revealed in June, alongside a Kickstarter campaign.

Remember BlackBerry phones? It’s difficult to forget them. Before the iPhone and the touchscreen smartphone revolution, BlackBerry was one of the leading smartphone brands. However, as times changed, its unique keyboard design quickly fell behind, and the company ceased production and development of its own phones back in 2016.

One of the last few smartphones BlackBerry ever released was the BlackBerry Passport, which took its name from its passport-like shape. In an effort to revive the unique experience of the BlackBerry Passport, Unihertz, a smartphone brand known for its unusual and compact phone designs, has teased its new Unihertz Titan 2 (via Android Headlines).

The Titan 2 boasts a design reminiscent of the BlackBerry Passport, featuring a large physical QWERTY keyboard that makes it easier to send texts and emails, along with a display that presents a unique aspect ratio compared to modern standards. It also includes a selfie camera positioned in the top-right corner of the display.

Aside from what you can see in the image above, that’s about all we know about the Unihertz Titan 2. The company plans to reveal more when it launches its Kickstarter campaign for the device in June.

The Unihertz Titan 2 will succeed the original Titan, which debuted back in 2019. The first Unihertz Titan features a 4.5-inch LCD display, a 6,000mAh battery, and an octa-core 2GHz Helio P60 CPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a single front-facing and rear-facing camera, and runs on Android 10.

While the battery size of the Titan 1 is still decent for 2025, the rest of it could definitely use a significant update, which the Titan 2 will hopefully offer. The first two items on my wishlist for it would be a much stronger chipset and support for the latest Android update, hopefully Android 15, with the ability to upgrade to Android 16.

The Unihertz Titan is currently priced at $320, so it will be interesting to see if the Titan 2 stays in that price range or if Unihertz intends to increase the stakes. All will be revealed when Unihertz launches its Kickstarter for its BlackBerry-like phone in June.

If you’re looking for more of a throwback to the BlackBerry Era, then these Pocket-lint stories on the BlackBerry Torch and the BlackBerry Playbook are precisely what you need.
